The Red Limit Bookcover

The Red Limit is a book about the expansion of the universe and how far we can see into it. I created a cover that fits into the space and science theme by incorporating both images and typography reminiscent of space age artifacts.

The underlying image texture of the lettering is a reference not only to the surface of stars, but to the background radiation left behind after what we presume was the big bang.
